Ms. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and a degree in nursing as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She also has certifications in CPR, Basic Life Skills (BLS), HIV, Intravenous Therapy and Infection Control.
As the Health Coordinator at BASIS Independent Manhattan, Ms. Campbell constantly strives to make sure all students are safe and healthy on a daily basis. She makes open communication with families a priority because it is imperative they are informed about their child’s well-being at school. Ms. Campbell looks forward to creating and implementing a school-wide wellness program featuring monthly topics such as healthy eating and exercise.
Upon relocating from Phoenix to New York City, Ms. Campbell jumped at the opportunity to work at BASIS Independent Manhattan because “after living in Arizona, I heard of so many wonderful accolades for BASIS Curriculum Schools and have been impressed with their academic approach.” Further, the Manhattan campus has a positively contagious atmosphere. She has felt embraced by the faculty, staff, and families here.
When Ms. Campbell is outside of the office, she loves to travel and participate in modern dance with her youngest daughter. A fun fact about Ms. Campbell is that she loves to cook, bake and try different recipes from all around the world.
