Ms. Kost graduated from the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Russian. While there, she was awarded the Michael J. Harum Fellowship to pursue an exciting opportunity to study Russian on a medical mission trip to Armenia. She also contributed to published research in the Journal of Immunology.
As an educator, she enjoys showing how science applies to everyday life and aims to teach students foundational critical thinking skills to help them become successful scientific thinkers throughout their academic careers.
Ms. Kost shares, “I am enthusiastic about being a part of the BASIS Independent Manhattan community, and working with passionate students, families, and staff.”
Outside of the classroom Ms. Kost can be found enjoying long runs and cooking delicious meals for family and friends.
